Following owner Frank McCourt's announcement a few months ago that he is actively seeking a strategic financial partner to steady the club's long-term trajectory, newly appointed president Stéphane Richard provided clarity on the situation during an interview with regional newspaper La Provence.
Richard firmly distanced his daily management duties from the ongoing search for external capital, reinforcing that the strategic pursuit belongs strictly to ownership. "I am not going to manage this process because it is an issue that concerns Frank McCourt as an owner," Richard clarified.
